Useful info:	Originally built about 1922 by Joe Gibbs from local Totara. Has been rebuilt in recent years and is in good condition.  A day trip spot and a useful stop on Friday evenings for many extended Tararua trips.  PNTMCs first trip (1966) was to this hut.
