Useful info:	Often used for weekend trips.  Built in 2003 to replace previous hut a little further up the flats. Original hut (TTC) built in 1950s, then superseded in 1970s by NZFS hut down valley, then replaced by current mansion.  Excellent fishing and river sports on doorstep.
